Your layout is fabulous - that perfect reflection is just gorgeous, just a moment from picking up a shell. The colours you have chosen are spot on, matching the little hat perfectly. I see the adorable little fish on the hat has been echoed above the journaling. Your clusters and elements are so incredibly 'beachy,' and look amazing, as though placed for your baby to find them if they wandered outside the picture.
Your journaling echoes that powerful feeling of anxiety and uncertainty that accompanies such an adoption. You don't tell us how the story ends, I hope all is well and the story has a happy ending.

I love the sand over the wood paper to frame in the page! The photo is wonderful! I love kids playing in the water and the reflection you caught is perfect! Wonderful cluster around the page as well to help contribute to the beahy feel. Good luck!

Oh my- such a fabulous and adorable image and reflection. I love the sense of smallness in a big world that the photo communicates. Thanks for editing your credits to tell the story had the desired outcome even though it came with years of struggle. Love the banner of seashells. The bright blue flowers and plaid paper are such perfect spot on color matches to her hat.

What can I say to such a prfect LO? There is not one thing that doesn't work perfectly! As soon as I saw this darling photo I was put in mind of one of the favorite plates in my collection - "Touching the Sky" by Donald Zolan. It put an immediate smile on my face. I'm so glad it all came out right!
