My creation for Week 3 of Scrapping Survivor - Brilliant Books. My quote is "I rarely end up where I was intending to go, but I often end up somewhere I need to be" It's from The Long Dark Teatime of the Soul by Douglas Adams.<strong style="color: #222222; font-family: san
Beautiful photo. Love the Douglas Adams quote and the curvy border. Good luck.

what abeautiful page. everything about it is so tranquil. the photo is special and the paper wave strips convey movement without distraction

You really have a good mix of products from different designers in there. Good job putting it all together. I love that quote...so true!

Beautiful mask work for a gorgeous picture! I love the outdoorsy feeling I get from your LO. I get the impression of moseying along looking over the next hill. Love your LO!

Really lovely mask for that photo. Also, what a great quote and I adore the wire heart. Great take on the challenge.

What a lovely page! I'm an animal lover, my grandma used to live in the countryside and every year, during the summer we used to visit, she owned one horse and few cows. I loved to feed them and spend time with theme, sometimes we used to pick up fresh fruit and she baked some pies. I'm guessing that's the reason why I do love animals, reminds me of my happy childhood. I love how you created the border and masked the gorgeous picture, great use of the flair and heart as fasteners, brilliantly done my dear, good luck!

Love the quote and its placement atop the layered side work. The masking of the photo looks great.

I have always been a huge Douglas Adams fan and, for all that his books can be ridiculous and funny, they are often very profound. This is one of those quotes and I love it. (Definitely better than Vogon Poetry, right!!). Love the swirls under the quote - they really represent that our path is never direct. The blended picture is fabulous - the horse in the wilderness. What a fun and fabulous composition.

Love hte creative blend witht he horse picture and the wavy papers really draw your eye to the quote! Nice work! Good Luck!

The curvy border shapes are wonderful. I also really like the unique kraft paper scalloped border.

The curving borders look interesting and I love the photo with the reflection of the horse in the water. Good Luck!

I really like the curves that you've used on your page and I also like the way that you've done the masking on your page.
