Kit: Where I Come From, Blue Heart Scraps
Font: Title +amp; Journal: Aubrey; Book Quote: Times New Roman
Quote reads:+ldquo;I am fundamentally an optimist. Whether that comes from nature or nurture, I cannot say. Part of being optimistic is keep
That picture! Oh my gosh, it is so gripping. Your personal journaling and the quote are very touching and uplifting. The butterflies always represent hope and beauty to me, and this composition has both. Love the burlap and lace combination and your natural clusters are absolute perfection. This is gorgeous!

The darker colors of the photo and your kit/element choice really bring that darker side of this plight to light. Your journaling reflects so well your feelings. That quote, perfectly placed, is so powerful. I feel I am an optimist but I have never had to be tested like that. This whole layout really is powerful and thought provoking. Wow

Amazing quote and moving photo. Love the burlap edges. Fabulous layout Good luck.

Wow, this is so moving. The photo is haunting and the quote is so powerful, wonderful take on this challenge.

This is a great, meaningful layout with a quote that is really what I picture a tribute to a book quote should be. Nice job!

You may or may not have intentionally used color symbology but the primary colors in your LO certainly describe Mr. Mandela, his experience and impact visually which adds additional perspective to your already moving LO. This is simply beautifully done.

Love how the simplicity of the layout really brings out the emotion of the picture and quote!

What a stunning page. . .so thoughtfully done with such a moving message!!! Love the burlap pieces - they give such wonderful texture!!! TFS and Good Luck!!!

The picture that you've used on here is really amazing, it fits the overall layout so well and reading the personal journaling that you wrote on your page was moving in and of itself.

I love the blended photo/silhouette and the drab colors. Then I saw the butterfly - which to me is hope. LOVE IT!

Awesome! love everything about this page, great use of the color palette, picture, lace, elements and template. Beautiful clustering and moving quote, love it! good luck Karen dear!

Ahh one of the great men of all time!! Fabulous quote and perfect to go with your visit to the human rights museum. I love how you kept everything in perspective using dark colours and the shadow of the man giving the page an errie dark feel but with hope signified by the light shining through the barred window! Love this page!! Good Luck!

He was an amazing man for sure and I would love to see this tribute museum... so powerful! Awesome photo and so very well blended with the darker background! I love, love that quote...it is one of my favorite, and fits so well with picture you used! I also really like the "homemade' simplicity of the borderwork and the black elements you chose. Excellent work! Good luck on this challenge!
