The Wind Cannot Read

The Wind Cannot Read "Though on the Sign it is written don't pluck these blossoms It is useless against the wind which cannot read" From "The Wind Cannot Read" by Richard Mason. &lt
Great extraction, Lynnie, especially with the hair! I like how you made the quote look like swirling wind and put a pic of the actual book down there in the corner. Wonderful job on week 3 :)

Wonderful page, Lynnie! I love how you put the quote in the wavy wordart. The extracted photo in the corner looks fantastic and I love the cluster in the other corner.

This is a lovely page and an interesting sounding story to read or watch the movie. I might bookmark the movie and watch it sometime. Lovely photo effect of your daughter-in-law. Thankyou for pointing this lovely page out to us in the Proud Grandmother's thread.

Love the extraction and the breezy way you did the quote. Awesome page. Good luck.

Just gorgeous!! Love the words swirling along with her hair blowing and the butterfly on her sholder - love all the details!

To my eyes, the wavy text and beads cleverly represent the wind referred to in the quote... Love how you positioned the photo half off the edge and what a great job on the hair. The little grouping of book and elements in the corner is beautifully done. Lovely page Lynnie.

Beautiful page! Very creative with your quote swirling in the wind! Beautiful clustering - love how you tucked the book and the word bits in. Nicely done!

Stunning L! The way you curved your quote looks like it's off in the wind. Brilliant! Love the tiny butterfly resting on the shoulder.

Wow Lynnie, another gorgeous page. Love the swirly quote and your extraction is awesome. Love your cluster in the corner.

Major impact achieved on another layout Lynnie! That extraction is incredible. I know firsthand how hard it is to erase those strands on whispy hair but you have rocked that. Also, the flowing text is just perfect for the quote used. Soft, pretty, colors used too

I love the swirls of words!! And lovely soft colors. Beautifully done!

WOW! Everything in your beautiful layout says "Wind". You are so very creative. Love the windy quote about the wind and the wind-swept hair too. Clustering is fantastic and of course, I love the little birdie! I wonder if the woman is being swept away in love :-) How do you get so many kits to fit so well together?! Wonderful Layout!

Wowsers! You are one amazing woman and scrapper! Besides a brilliant quote-and excellent extraction, the placement of the test on path is beyond perfect. Love the clustering.
PS - Sarah is here.. she said: Grandma, that is Pocahontas singing Colors in the Wind. I can see the letters flying by her hair.

What a fabulous extraction- flowing hair is a daunting task but it is so perfect to pair with the quote. Love the text paths for the lines of the quote. The swirling bead flourishes are perfect represenations for blowing swirling "wind".

Lynnie, this is gorgeous! How did you do such a good extraction? I feel like I'm going to blow away with the wind. :)

Your journaling is fantastic!!! It creates such a sense of movement on your page!!! Beautifully designed!!! TFS and Good Luck!!!

Oh, Lynnie, this is a very art nouveau-ish and beautiful LO. It's a very Mucha-like approach - he did amazing things with hair. Extending her hair blowing on the words is inspired.
