I cried when I read your journaling! I lived with my grandmother until I was 11 years old. She was a master cook. She cooked so well that to this day I still have not found anyone who cooks like her. She made a cake that nobody could copy, even though the recipe was in the hands, nobody could do the same. Today I'm 39 years old, and even today when I see a cake that looks like my grandmother's cake, I buy it in the hope that it has the same flavor, but it does not, and I cry! Is that you in the picture? What a relic! Great page. Thanks for the recipe!
 
I love this page! Your journaling is so special and just reinforces the fact that we need to get family history and recipes down in writing! I was running through her garden right with you and my imagination was in full flight! I love the photo of you and her(?) and the use of color is so fresh and perfect for a rhubarb pie.
