What a wonderful way to let the older child know how cherished she still is after she becomes the big sister. I love your story and the supporting photos..also love the dk bg you chose which allows the other colours to pop. Nice use of the floral doily too.

Fabulous blocking of your photo! Really that is such a neat technique. I love your storytelling and what a special memory this is! The pairing of the dark blue with the lighter photos creates such a bold and beautiful look! >>I'm nominating you for Baker's Best this week! >https://forums.gingerscraps.net/showthread.php?42873-Bakers-Best-5-20-5-26+p=500532#post500532

Wonderful choice to use the solid Navy background paper from this kit, to begin building your page, Jenny, as the pretty patterned paper strips, just pop with all their colors off of it. How adorable are these throwback photos, and the way you split the photo to the right is amazing. Love the journaling, and what a terrific way to make a new big sister feel extra special. The clusters are spot on, and the one tucked under the photo on the left is darling. The bow holding down the word strips is too cute. Excellent shadowing techniques as well.
