Wow! Good for you for having the nerve to do this! I love the looks of this page and the color is really nice! The word bits tell the story all on their own. Fabulous composition!

I admire your courage in quitting what didn't fit so well any more and forge a new career at 46! I'm not sure I would have had the courage in the same place. With the story like yours, a photoless, artsy page is just perfect!

What an amazing story! I really like the artsy vibe, the terrific use of painting brushes, the font choice and the journal. Brilliantly done, good luck my dear!

WOW - the greens and blacks are a very different combination and how totally awesomely they work together. Your title made me WANT to read every word of the journaling. (Kudos on very brave decision!) The word art tags you have created are superb. The addition of the fish is fabulous and goes so well with the journaling. The attention to detail, such as the stiting down the side and the placement of the art journal elements is what makes you stand out. Beautiful work!

I love your artjournaling style - and your word strips are perfect to tell the short story. Your journaling is fantastic.

Really like the grungy arsty feel of this page. Love the paper piecing and awesome use of different splats. Also like the wordbit labels with the random thoughts. Awesome photoless layout.

what courage it must have taken, your took a risk and it paid off. I like your story and it gives hope to other people.

So inspiring! I loved reading your story. Your page is perfect, and I love that little fish on the bottom. Turns out, you aren't a fish out of water, you can adjust perfectly. Good luck!

Terrific journaling! I like all your layering and your colour choices. Great use of the word strips as well. Fabulous art journaling page!

beautiful page Yvonne! I love the subdued colors you chose for the page, and how brave to start over again! The little fish are the sweetest addition to reflect your journaling. All the little subtle touches, the time pieces, the subtle clustering and layering of the papers in the top corner, the colors, and all the layering of elements in a subdued way -- they all work together to make this beautiful page of an amazing personal journey. I am so glad taking the chance and making the change worked out so well!
