What a story! I just loved the journaling; you have a talent for story telling, don't you!! I loved how you have gathered together the old pic, marriange cert, the postcard and best of all, a husband making a heart with you - gagging or not! - it makes the layout very authentic. The blending of the postcard at the bottom and the cluster at the top left are both outstanding!

I really appreciate all the details of your story. ( and love that it's now recorded for posterity!) That blended photo at the bottom is so great, and I so love that 70s shot. So happy you found your perfect partner. These pages are really giving me hope that divorce and unhappy marriages are NOT the norm, that maybe what we've all found and see sharing here is the real norm. Hope so.

your page is absolutely beautiful, from the blending of your large photo along the bottom, fun angle and placement of your elements along the top corner, all the way to your amazing and sincere journaling. Your page is a treasure! Your life's story is incredible. I really like how you journaled "made in germany" and "born in the usa" that is such a fun way with words. the whimsy is repeated thru your page starting with the journaling of that "fool" and the fun, lighthearted layering pieces behind your photo cluster. so many little details that all work together so well and subtley in your great life's adventure.
