Survivor Week 4

Journaling reads: Yes, we stopped at every pub we could during our holiday in England. While the pints are amazing, a pub is so much more, it can provide atmosphere, food and a swift friendship with the locals. There is something special about finding a +lsquo;local,
Haha! Love all the photos and the gorgeous cluster across the page! Interesting journalling and I love how you shaped the photos around the centre title!

yay! The pub stops story (or at least scratching the surface...) Really clever how you created a wooden stop sign and fit your photo sections around it. But the story is by far the star. The "new part" is a classic. I think you need to add that to your personal vernacular when appropriate, though not quite dating back THAT far!! Lovely page, Lynnie. Great take on the challenge.

What an amazing trailing cluster! Can't imagine the time that took to create! I really like the balanced look of this with the large outer corner photos and smaller photo/papers between. Very creative to crop the corners to protect the hexagon shape. Am most impressed by how you got the scalloped edges to align so well with the cropped photo shape- I have a hard time with 4 sided shapes but the extra angles would really be a challenge. Love the addition of the lantern- seems perfect because most all the pubs pictured have one to welcome you in.

LOVE this! Beautiful floral cluster winding down the page! Sounds like a wonderful way to relax!

An octagon pocket page of perfection! love the composition idea to focus on all those wonderful watering holes that you found (more than once lol). Those scalloped edges on some of the photos was cool to really emphasize those particular photos! Great story and pretty page with the cascading flowers (almost like the ever flowing brews that were enjoyed lol)

What beautiful clustering! I love all the scallop frames! Great title work in the center! Gorgeous page!

what a fun page and wonderfully creative idea for the challenge! just love the placement in the middle of the stop/octagon shape. It is so cool how all the photos/buildings are offshots of the stop. the eye moves from place to place through the photos -- and how cool would it be to stop at each and every place. i really like the soft, natural colors you used and the simple adornment of the page thru your elements.

Awesome page, Lynnie and I really like how you displayed all the different pub fronts, did the title (so cute) and arranged the flowers and cluster line so that it helps your eyes travel the page. Just beautiful! Super page!

PS... I oops! This is physioscrapper Nancy commenting here. I forgot to check out with KD after putting up the ads.

Fantastic page! love your photo series, especially the one at the left corner, I remembered my childhood when I watched it, lol, I grew up with Beatles' music. Love the whole design, the gorgeous clustering, the journaling and the font choice. Brilliantly done, good luck my dear!

Wow! I love how you shaped the photos around the central piece. The clusters are magnificent, and that lamp is awesome! I enjoyed reading your journaling. England is my dream trip.

My kind of pit stops!!! Love the pictures of all the old pubs and the pretty clustering down the side of the octagon! Beautiful page!!

Love, love it!! Love the way you used the shape!! The photos are amazing and I love the story behind them!! The winding cluster path is gorgeous!!

Sounds like my kind of pit stop :) This is definitely a buckety list item of mine! Great series of photos and love your cluster work.

How neat! My DD and her hubby enjoyed stopping at a couple as well. They are quaint and I'm sure I would love it as well. The awesome title work draws the eye right in.
