Heck yea he'd be embarrased!! But so adorable, right? As long as you don't show his friends Jill! love the bit of stitching below the journaling. And also love how cute this black background page is; it's still bright and cheery. But let's face it, black and red are such a great color combo, and your dotted red bottom layer/border is the bomb. The two red and white pennants plus the mixed banner are so charming. And your placement of the butterfly is so eyecatching. I like how you so fearlessly mix flat items with dimensional ones in your clusters, I don't know why, but I can not make myself do it...and it looks so great here! love the scale on the little blue ribbon floret and those tiny mushrooms, too. And of course, I could look at that cute little photo all day...loved dressing my kids when they were little. But only got away w/a little of this kind of stuff w/the younger one as the big one (also a boy) was 7 years older and told me sternly that i was dressing him like a girl. I just said, he has his whole life to wear just shorts and tshirts, let me have some fun,too. sigh.

Jill, I think this needs to be on what we call in the States, the high school graduation "shrine". Bring this out for the Open House, his friends will LOVE it! I love the way your brain is wired and what you build around a lady bug raincoat. I love the lots of dots you've used here in the papers and scatters and spatters. the black sets off the everything so beautifully. I love the intersecting horizontal and vertical lines and the way the banner and cluster meet with Bennie there. And there you are hovering by the sweet journaling.

I am totally in love with that kit. I don't NEED anymore kits, I don't WANT anymore kits, but you are a total temptress, luring me from my safe place back into the store where I MUST HAVE THIS! I certainly hope it comes with Jill Skills tucked in somewhere along the way...
