Dad, even after 27 years I still can't help but wonder what it
Awww, Karen, that is so touching! And such a pretty layout. I love the strips and the shapes (I cannot think of what they're called) to make that border. The colors of the kit are perfect for the photo and topic.

A very elegant and poignant layout..love your choice of colours..the stacked-border adds is perfectly done!

Because of the strong colors and the white space your attention goes to the picture and your journaling. Very touching, great job!

A lovely and heartfelt layout, for sure! I often wonder the same thing! I love the simplicity of yout layout, beautiful!

I can so relate to this... My dad is gone too, it's been 13 years and I still think of him every day...
I love the vertical border on your page. The fleur-de-lis is so eyecatching, and the pocket watch is a great detail.

so touching; and you'll always think of him. He's watching. Love that flourish by the journaling. Beautiful page.

Your journaling is very heartfelt and I love the neatness of your page and the kit choice.

I miss my grandfather after 17 years, too. They are always around in our hearts for sure. Beautiful page!

What a wonderful memory page of your father. From the photo, to the incredible way you worked those word labels with the title and your journaling too. That border is bold and so masculine with a beautiful, polished look to the whole thing! Love the addition of the watch too for those times lost factor!

what a great layout to remember so important to you, I'm sure he would have loved your family~

Wonderful vertical design, love the contrasting colours, a wonderful memory of your dad... Its always so sad to remember what might have been x

Love the color palette and vertical cluster-really compliment your photo. Nice work on the journaling.

I find myself nodding and being reflectful as I look at your layout. My mother died before I met my husband and became a mother. I've told my daughter that she would have loved spending time with my mother... even though there is no biological tie, it's obvious they were cut from the same cloth... they are/were both girly girls who love to shop and dress up, but also love/loved sporting events. Good luck on this week's final layout challenge! :)
