I love caving and have been through Carlsbad at least 3 if not 4 times since 1970. From the look of your photos, the National Park Service has changed the entrance to Carlsbad a lot. I wonder what it looks like inside now. I was very disappointed the last time I went thru Carlsbad to discover that the Park Service had installed a full service canteen in one of the large "rooms."
