Such pretty irises and the masked iris paper is a lovely touch!

This is so pretty, Elizabeth! Irises are definitely one of my favorite flowers. Love the purple ones especially! The masking you've done is perfect here, and great use of the brush as well.

I like the different representations of "iris" that you've included in your lovely layout: a photo containing a group of present-day irises, a botanical watercolor (WC) of two irises, and another WC iris used to make new art. It doesn't fit Plato's paradigm exactly, but it's still a nice illustration regarding the "nature" of things.

Love the photo mask that you've created on the side of the layout, with the blending of the brush on to the layout! This is really pretty! Thank you for playing along in this month's brush challenge! <3
