Interesting read! Don't think I have ever heard of that tree before. (of course I am not in Madagascar either! LOL The photos are great and I love the open frames and layers behind them.

What a strange and amazing tree! It's also uncanny how it came from such a long distance to settle where you are. We have baobab trees like that ... they floated hundreds of miles from Africa until they reached our shores in the Caribbean. I really enjoyed reading your journaling and marveling at your photos. I think it's grand when LOs are both beautiful and instructive the way yours is.
