Wonderful photo of your dad... mine also served in WWII. I like the photos that you chose for the background, and that alpha is perfect. It's so important to remember the sacrifices of those who fought and died.

I went to see the war memorial in Canberra, Elizabeth, I read the stories of so many brave young men..those who survived war and those who did not. Shed a few tears for all those young boys.. it is such a touching monument. Your layout reminds me of the memorial and the poignancy of remembrance..
