Fantastic story! The beginning of your story is very much like my own, with the glasses when you were young. I like the artsy background and the flags on the left side.

Thank you so very, very much for telling your story. I too wore glasses at a fairly young age and experimented with one type of contact lens after another. Finally, in 2001, I opted to get Lasik surgery and was very happy with it (except for the monovision business that my eye doctor insisted I try). Now I'm an oldie but goldie and new problems are starting, such as the beginnings of cataracts. Your layout gives me hope. I also like how incredibly stylish your page is, proof that clean, simple lines and a good story are often more effective than the costliest designs by "Mad Men." LoL!
