June 10 Our day in San Francisco

Journaling-
On vacation, we get up and “GO” > to get the most out of the day.> > > Starting with a cup of coffee, then hit the > streets to hop on the Big Bus tour around the > city. It was cold and raining. The ponchos > helped a bit with the rain, > On the upper deck the wind was > brutal. On the bucket list was a > ride on a cable car, and lunch> in Chinatown. I asked for a > Gluten Free menu. She> did not speak English. Bill > said to her- No flour in the > food. She smiled and was > so happy when she > brought our meal to say: > “ No FLOWERS”!> Mine was the only plate > without a ‘flower’ to> garnish. We just laughed. > The food was good.> I purchased a warmer > jacket. It sure helped. We > hopped back on the bus to> cross the bay for a sunset > view of the city. Then > back to Fisherman’s Wharf > for dinner and return to the > hotel. Even with time on the > bus, we walked 8,595 steps.> We were Wiped Out!
