June 2015 Scraplift Challenge

Great photo, even if the weather is bad. I like all the word strips and the grey papers. The umbrella and rain cloud is the perfect touch.

Your layout is a real stunner! For one thing, the contrast between the photo and the panels above and below is very dramatic, almost surreal. I also like how you emphasized the threatening sky with dark clouds, raindrops, and lightning bolt embellishments. The wordarts and your journaling add a tragicomedic feel, like "Enough already with this weather!" yet "Gee, what a great display Nature is putting on for us!" What I like the most, though, is the incredible clarity of your panoramic photo. iPhone, right? If you say yes, I won't put off getting one for myself another day.

Yes, this photo was taken with my iPhone 6. Sometimes I think it takes better pictures than my real camera.
