your journaling is achingly heartfelt...must admit that I have felt life to be overwhelming at times..but, please don't let life pass you by...(When I am at my lowest I always say "this too shall pass&quot..love your patchwork design...and your blue eye matching the blue paper is so striking...awesome shadows too

Wow to the journaling. Unfortunately, getting older is a part of life BUT we ARE allowed to shirk some of our responsibilities at times so we can have some fun and let loose. Using FB and scrapping is a perfectly acceptable way of coping, too. Don't be so hard on yourself. On the other hand, I love this layout and am so proud of you for not using a template. It turned out great!

I remember having those same feelings at times when the children were little too, but it gets better and easier. I love the way it looks like you hid your face partially with the paper piecing, like you're hiding behind it. Your page design is wonderful and very creative. Great shadows and love the dangling bird and cage. Really well done, good luck
