Somewhat of my tongue in cheek perspective on the difficulties of sleeping at night, between being a night shifter and an adult with ADD!

OMG I can relate to this too, lol. I have ADD too, and although my brain works like this always while I am awake and moving around, it doesn't usually effect me this way if I lay awake at night...thankfully. Hard to focus on a conversation, reading, homework...anything, because my brain constantly drifts, so I only pick up bits and pieces. Explains why I did so horribly in grade school, and wish they would have known then what they know now, but, c'est la vie :)I love the photo of the full moon and the time you posted as you lay awake thinking a million thoughts. The mish mosh of the faded time with the grungy brushes and added clocks you used in the BG are great, and related to the mish mosh of thoughts and ideas that race through your brain :) Lovely page, and I'm glad I'm not alone, and that there are other that understand how difficult it can be to function having ADD. Thanks for sharing!

I'm right there with you as many nights I don't sleep and my head goes from topic to topic....As for New Orleans, the Monteleone is very nice as is the Ritz and its adjacent hotel. Tons of great restaurants. WWII museum is terrific, zoo ok. As for AAA, just book it that way, we are members and have never been asked to see the card. Have a great trip. DH is from there.
