If I Only Had...

<p class="MsoNormal">This page ended up meaning a lot not just to me but to my eldest daughter, Annie, as well. She shares this dream of mine. The horse shown was one she was loaning until the owner moved to another County and so the horse had to go too. The new yard didn,t
The queen of blending does it again! I love the "If only I had the means" take on it. Good for you for being you!

Beautiful. Yes, I agree the world needs more animal sanctuaries!!! Beautifully done and journaled.

Beautiful photos, wonderfully executed page. When I was a child, one of my favorite movies was 101 Dalmations, I used to say I wanted to own a farm in the country and rescue every dog to have them come live with me. :) Wonderful story, and wonderful dream/wish to have.

Great page, wonderful and important theme. Believe me: if I only had money I would support you on this way.

Such a wonderful wish. I love this page. The warmth of the colors and the pictures really help us feel what you are saying with the journaling. Beautiful.

This is a beautiful layout. So warm and inviting, pefect for these sweet animals who need a home.

thanks for sharing the story..lovely warm colors complement the animals so nicely..I too am a collector of animals and your wish would be my wish also(impressive list of credits...lol)

Love the blend of papers. So well executed! Great photos to represent your if only theme.

Lovely page and great dream! I really like the stitching across the top with the birds sitting on it! And your title is great!

Fabulous journaling! Love your title work. These photos just break my heart. The bg blending is amazing!

love the photos and the desire to create such a thing!! I wish you had the means as well to make this happen! I love the coloring of this layout, but the photos pop and capture your heart and then the journaling drives the love home!

This is just beautiful...your blending and technique here is stellar! Those photos and those eyes...heartbreaking. Such heartfelt journaling.

AMAZING page... What a great person and talent that your daughter has for the horse.. She must be and is an amazing and strong loving person. I love the paper choice the pieces that you used are perfect. Superb page!

Oh I had thought I had commented on your page, Bernie... I must have read that beautiful story in the forum thread. Awesome page, and I think it's so wonderful that you and your daughter have the energy, love and time to share with these animals. We can't heal the world, but if you can heal even a few hearts like you have done then the world is a much better place. What a wonderful trait you have shared with your daughter! I love the earthy colors you used for your layout, the title or theme, and how you journaled all the pictures...it looks so neat! Fabulous page!

Gorgeous background paper with all the splatters and splotches! I love that you added in all of the little bird elements and the stitching line for them to perch on. Beautiful job with this week's challenge!

Beautiful page! THe title with the red and the yellow flower really pops. I feel your emotions and love of animals though this page! You remind me my friend who runs a horse rescue (and dogs and cats and whomever happened to need a home lol). I used to help out when I could with some of the neglacted horses. While I never got to know them in a way that trainers do, I did form bonds with the animals through feeding and watering them! What a blessing you and your daughter are to the needy animals!! Thank you for what you do!

Boy do we ever share that dream!! My DH and I often talk about setting up as an official rescue. I love the grunge feel to your layout and the journaling placed in different places. Photos are excellent. Good luck!
