Isn't it wonderful how providence can step in when needed most! Love the blocked pictures showing the different parts of what makes this special and that your scars are the only permanent damage you retained. The title looks fabulous.

Melissa this is such an amazing and yet scary experience. How blessed you are and those around you to have you in their life . You did an amazing job with the page and telling the story and I love that you went with this one for the challenge. I have been told that sometimes the layouts that we do are a therapy to start or help a healing. I hope that this has done that for you. So glad that we have your inspiration to learn from:)

Truly amazing story - I'm not religious but the timing of the various people's arrival in your life makes you wonder if there isn't really something/someone out there watching out for us when we really need it. I love the journalling and the title - the pictures say it all

Fantastic story, and one that I can relate to being a past physical therapist and having worked in a military hospital! I've so glad for you the problem was found, and corrected, and for advances in medical technology! I bet the surgeon was sweating bullets when he was inserting those screws! lol I'd keep them too! Love your titlework and how the pictures work with your story! Super work on the challenge this week! Good luck!
