Wow. I have tears in my eyes. This is such a wonderful tribute, straight from the heart - every word. I think it's great you can still communicate even through this medium. Both my husband and I appreciate that he fought for his country. This is perfect.

oh Marie!! First of all, thank you so much for all the sacrifice you and your family has given, especially your husband who has given the greatest sacrifice of all. Your journaling is outstanding I can only imagine how difficult it was for you to write, hopefully it did serve as therapy. Everything about this is beautiful. I'm tearing up right along with Laramie right now. Your children must be so proud of their father. Such a well deserved Bakers Best. Your journaling is wonderful and I love how you did it as a conversation to your sweetheart. Both photos are wonderful but the bottom one is so poignant. Wow, really heartfelt and amazing layout. The journalling is very emotional and love the simplicity of the elements as to not distract from the journalling.
