Morning Rounds

13 1/2 year old Dillon, doing his rounds.
I cut 9 pieces out of my photo and saved each one as a png, then overlaid them on top of the same photo that I blended with a mask, and shadowed the pieces on top (if that makes sense, lol).

I took the photo early in the morning from the back of our yard, f
What a fabulous job cutting up your photo! Love the sun coming up over the house and the flowers peeking out even among the flowers in your garden! Love your title and word snips. I'm IN love with Dillon. Made my heart sad that he is blind now, but obviously it doesn't slow him down in his own territory. Fantastic layout, Arlene!

Love, love, LOVE this page! You did an awesome job with the photo treatment, Arlene, and the rich layers. Love the journaling and tags tucked here and there. Dillon is a heart stealer, for sure! :)

Wonderful technique on the photo...really love the LO. You did a great job using the word bits and elements in the kits. I love the story of Dillon...thanks for sharing.

Congrats...I've nominated this for Baker's Best this week

Wow, what a 3D work of art! It sounds like it was a lot of effort, but well worth it! Your dog is so lovable! I love the story and photo. The whole page is absolutely amazing!

You know I LOVE the way you scrap big photos in smaller sections. Sweet journaling My dad's dog is blind too, but she's learned her way around again and has resumed her old habits. They are wonderfully inspirational when we face challenges of our own.

LOVE the way you cut and layered the photo with the clustering tucked in. The journaling is great and the word bits tucked around the page are a great touch.
