LOL! She looks quite happy indeed to be at the beach. But I don't know if that is better than a puppy! That might be a stretch.. but I am definitely a dog person. :)
For the layout.. the bright colors are very eye catching. And you have a way with journaling! I have a hard time mustering up a sentence or two. So you are way ahead of me there! Well done!
