Please NOTE: journaling contains emotional journaling

For those who do not know me I was not close to my mother. She was mentally ill and an addict.

Journaling Reads:
Mom, this letter will sound harsh to most who read it, but I know you will understand. For after all these years your mind, body an
This is really amazing. I'm extremely touched by the journaling you've included here. It's so heartfelt and honest. You've managed to strike exactly the right balance between pain/criticism and love/forgiveness. That's so incredibly difficult to do in real life, let alone on a layout. And the elements that you've chosen to include here, with the serene purple colors and sunny photo combined with the much darker skeleton element, exactly reflect that. I'm sure that the act of creating this layout must have represented a big emotional release. Thank you so much for sharing it with us -- I feel like I know more about you now and about where you are coming from. That's so incredibly inspirational.

Absolutely precious! I used to add my Journaling until they became a bit personal. Now through YOUR courage, I feel it's perfectly okay. This LO is excellent!

I'm with Molly on every word!

What an amazing testimony to your faith in God and your love for your mom! How hard it must've been to share! Your layout is stunning!

The page is a fantastic blend of love and morbidity. The journaling is touching and harsh but very real. I am sorry there wasn't hope for peace to be made on this earth but very glad that you have the knowledge that things will be fixed in the proper time and place. I'm sorry for your loss, not at her death but of all the things that come with a "normal" childhood but you missed out on due to drug abuse and the pain that comes with it.
