This is a really sweet layout! I had to look twice at this photo before I realized what was unusual about it and what makes it more than just an ordinary house photo -- it's the fact that it's a totally empty garage. You've already cleaned out and moved all of your possessions. That really helps convey the sense of how you're saying goodbye to all your old memories. But I also love how the colorful scalloped strips across the bottom add a note of brightness to the layout. The colors there help convey how this story is not all sad, because you're saying goodbye to old memories but also welcoming new ones. Congrats to you on your purchase! What a beautiful layout you've made to commemorate your big move.

I totally loved the look of this page but after reading Molly's comment I was struck by the significance that I had initially missed!! Great perspective on the page Molly! The layered scalloped edges looks so beautiful and I really liked the way that you used all different types of papers! The cluster at the top is beautiful and the well placed word strips work wonderfully!!
