Last Coffee Break

Last year on March, we stopped by a coffee plantation in Bali to taste the famous Luak Coffee. We didnt realize that it was our dad last coffee break together. Just a month later he was diagnosed with acute leukimia + passed away 2 days after. We'll miss you.. dad!

Ohhhh, how sad, I'm so sorry for the loss of your father! I'm sure you will cherish this time you had together and glad you got the photo too. This LO is amazing, I love all of the blocking and the colors, and the beautiful shadow work on the ellies. The title is fabulous too. I love the whole page! I am nominating this for Bakers Best

Beautiful page of a very special time. I like the photo treatment with the stroke outline as it draws the eye in. Awesome blocking and placment of the elements. The title and placement of the word bits are perfect.

Oh Nadia. What a beautiful page. I'm so sorry for your loss. It's a wonderful photo and special moment captured forever. I love everything you did on this LO but it makes me sad because I can feel your pain. Gorgeous scrap page and a touching tribute. I'm sure you have a lot of happy memories to sustain you.

Thank you for the lovely comments, ladies... I can't believe that it's been a year after my dad's gone. I still feel like he is still around....
And thank you for the nomination too, Toni :). I actually used this layout in a layout contest and won the first prize! I never won any contests before so I guess my dad is my lucky charm after all....

What a sad story but such a lovely way to keep the memory! Loved this LO with the deeply shadowed elements and sweet clusters. The different little mats are very nice and I liked the coffee theme!

I too am sorry to hear of your loss. This is a superb page and I am so glad it was nominated for Bakers Best.There is so much to look at on this page, the photo is gorgeous and all the ellies and paper blocking you have used make this not only a terrific layout but a gorgeous memory page.

Sorry to hear of your loss, but a great layout to remember him by. Love the colours and the coffee beans spilled across the page. I also love your clustering and how some pieces are popping off the page and others are flat. Great layout.
