What a treasure! You have a little picture of history through their journals ... really cool! The paper squares, the color palette, the black and white photos and your cute clustering all work together to make a wonderful page!

My dad has been journaling every day about the little things/ thoughts he and my mom have done or talked about. It will be such a wonderful gift for me and my family someday. I love the photo you took of the many stacked books, and the B&W gives it a heritage feel. I LOVE the beautiful colors and checkerboard BG, and the wonderful journaling. The use of space and the shadow work are lovely. I feel like this is a big part of why we scrapbook, and this page is really touching and beautiful! I am nominating this for BB
