Oh, my gosh, that totally would have freaked me out! Your dad and mom sound like quite the practical jokesters -- what an awesome story to commemorate! I especially like what you've done with the title work here, with that pretty yet sort of solemn vintage alpha, and then the openly ominous font underneath. In fact, the vintage feel to all of the elements and photos here is just so perfect -- it ties together the two themes of 'childhood story' and 'spirit world.' Very well done! Lol, what a great story, I loved reading it, and I'm sure you have been told before that you have a real talent for writing. I love that old(er) photo too, I can just picture the 2 of you a bit down the road, a little older, curious, and needing to be entertained, lol. That was one of the many "spirit" games we used to play when I was a kid too, and have been freaked out a time or 2, lol. The way you created and placed the fabulous elements is outstanding and so creative and fun to look at. The whole page is really beautifully done, I love it. Congrats on the BB nomination!
