This is absolutely amazing! Your mother was wrong -- 'short fingers' my hat, you have definitely got the creative streak! I absolutely love every detail of this -- the blue paint strokes outlining your hand underneath, the button that your fingers are clutching, and the combination of alphas in the title work, especially the bold shadowing on the 'creative' part and the spreading wings underneath. I'm floored! Adding this to my favorites, for sure.

Great journaling, and isn't crazy the old wives tales people actually believe!! Crazy! And so glad you decided to pursue an art interest like digi scrapping, and I can see you are good at it and have a GREAT artsy side.
