I really love the unique, tilted angle of the journaling here. It works really well paired with that notebook paper -- it makes that aspect seem more authentic and handmade. I love how you've done the date title, too, with the blue part of the 'e' shaded in, and the year offset on a shadowed pink tag. The detail work there is really interesting and fun to look at, and the circular arrangement matches the doodles in the background paper really well. Very cute! Really well done!

My little daughter did the same thing on her first trip to the beach. Love how the middle of the e in "june" is cut out to show the background paper and your clustering and layering behind the photos is great. Love the date stamped on that little piece of ribbon too.
