Each year on May 5th the Dutch people remember the casualty's from world war II. This year all the kids in my daughters class where asked to write a poem. My dd's poem was chosen and she read it out loud during the memorial service. I was so proud of her, she really did awesome!!

What amazing blending. The brush strokes, the journaling, the red flower petals, the grid overlay -- all of it just combines really nicely. The emotion that's conveyed by this layout is absolutely perfect for the event that it's commemorating.

This is such a beautiful layout and full of meaning! I love the amazing blending job you did and how your daughter is the only one in the photo that is in focus!
