On our way back from the bay area of Florida, we decided to make a stop at Crystal
River State Archaeological Park. This is an interesting place where thousands of Native
Americans gathered and were buried upon their deaths hundreds of years ago. The mounds
are similar to those found further north in the Ohio River Valley. It was neat to see how
the engineering of these mounds are so similar, despite the distance between the sites. There
was also a neat rock carving of a girl screaming. Kathryn and Paul had fun mimicking her
expression for a picture with the stone.

For the layout I used a template from Miss Fish (Focus Group 4 templates), which I altered and the kit is Golden Days by Neia Scraps
Beautiful page - and journaling. Your photos and the journaling about this park has made me put it on my bucket list - so thanks! Love the big masked photo and especially love the park emblem you used. Pretty cluster, too.

Great page D, love the masking of the main photo and enjoyed your journalling both informative and personal, thank you for including it in the LO description, the venue logo is a clever inclusion, I like the dainty page edging created by the under bg paper. The little cluster holding the smaller pics to the page is really pretty.
