During our nature walks together, Harley and I have been collecting feathers which he is sticking into an exercise book with a special cover I made for it. One day he arrived here after preschool wearing a hoodie under which he had tucked a lot of feathers he had collected from his preschool playground. So far we have only found black, white and grey feathers but we are hoping for some red or green ones. We have a lot of colourful birds here so fingers crossed a rosella or king parrot might leave a feather or two behind for Harley to add to his collection.
Loved reading your journaling about Harley collecting the feathers. Great photos and arrangement of them with with clusters especially like the one with his book.
Oh that's so wonderful. I am a father finder and keeper too, Harley. I need a book like yours. I just keep them in little cops and bases our heels down by a rock on my desk. I love how you matched a paper to his sweater.
Love his little face of concentration. Pretty collection you are both doing, nice that you can do it together. Interesting journalling. A lovely memory shared!
