I'm poor at choosing gifts for people. So I "wrap" the checks I gift in personalized check holders. Here are my directions. This one is for my son-in-law.

I have never been one to give money as a gift, but I remember growing up, money was a normal gift and there were so many creative ways to give it. I think your personalized envelopes may be the best.
