It was such a wonderful surprise during my trip interstate visiting family to discover this flock of galahs feeding on grass seeds in a park in inner urban Melbourne. I used to see groups like this regularly on my front lawn years ago, but sightings in such numbers have become increasingly rare around here although they are still fairly common in the surrounding farming districts. Oh my gosh! These birds are gorgeous - and so are your photos of them! The OOB bird flying out of the photo is a wonderful touch. Great journaling, too. I love the big cluster with the bird tucked into the flowers that match the coloring of them all!
They are gorgeous - what a thrill it must be to see such lovely birds. They appear to have a mind of their own and you cannot cage them in a picture. I see that one of them has exited the photograph and it about to fly off the page completely. I also love the flowers popping out of the picture at the bottom. Jill, you are an artist!
