I'm really not fond of cooking SO whenever there is a gathering, I always bring a fruit tray with a dip. This is my favorite dip for the summer (i have a Kahlua dip for the winter) and have made it over and over. The only problem might be you can't find frozen orange juice concentrate so if you read the recipe below, I have a substitution.

and one element from a retired kit
here is the recipe:
Orange Creamsicle Fruit Dip
INGREDIENTS:
8 oz. cream cheese softened
7 oz. marshmallow cream
1-2 Tbsp frozen orange juice concentrate start with 1 Tbsp and add a little more if you want a stronger orange flavor (I recommend adding more and even a little orange flavored liqueur!)
DIRECTIONS:
Make sure that the cream cheese is completely softened. Use an electric mixer to blend the cream cheese for a minute or two and then add the other ingredients, blending together until smooth.
Serve immediately with fresh fruit or store in the refrigerator until ready to serve. Also freezes beautifully (and you can eat it like ice cream).
NOTES: My go-to for a potluck or family gathering is a fruit tray. It’s something people don’t normally think about but love it. I do prefer more of an orange flavor so I add 2 or more tablespoons. This dip is simple and delicious with only three ingredients, and it tastes amazing with any variety of fresh fruit!
ALSO: It’s not easy to find the frozen OJ concentrate any more so you can substitute with orange marmalade. Or a small can of mandarin oranges (I use no sugar added), well drained (use the liquid for something else) and smashed up.
