Font Abdullah and Noteworthy

These two Aboriginal dot paintings were my favourites from a recent exhibition in our town, I love the colours and the flow. It turned out these were painted by the same artist, Judith Franklin. The first one is entitled Travel on Country Banksia Flower and celebrates the importance and uses of the plant in Aboriginal culture. The second is named Silent Warriors and represents the artist’s musings as she gazed up at the cliffs of Gallipoli musing on what the feelings of the soldiers might have been during that significant historical time.
Interesting page! I like the photos and the journaling about them. Lovely flower clusters and great choice of papers behind the photos.
 
I really like those paintings. I love the journaling that you did about them, and I like the delightful depth that you created with the cluster work.

Love the patterned paper colors and layering with the buttons holding them together on the dark brown BG. Colors of the kit and your photos work beautifully together!
