We hosted an 80th birthday celebration for my mother-in-law and had such a great time visiting with family and friends. She passed away less than a year later. I just saw a quote that is so appropriate: "When you start to understand that there isn't one more day, but there's one less, you start giving more value to the things that really matter." For me, that's family.
