Laura and her Dad do regular runs together.On this day, they tackled a 10k run through the hills at the back of our town. It was a tough course but they both reached the end albeit with a few stops along the way.. Go THEM!!

10K in the hills! Yay for them, indeed. This is a lovely page - love the masked photo and the other photos as well as your awesome journaling. Love the clusters and the perfect title, too.

What a great daughter/dad activity! (And better then than me, for sure! Ha ha) love those beautiful eucalyptus flowers as an underscore and border detail.

Did you join them? I am sure that is why you are a little achy. Love the unique bordering on this one with the dark inner edge and the herringbone stitching. The faded background picture, the course, the journaling, the 'details,' all work alongside your traditional arrows and clusters to become a masterpiece.

Oh Jill, your pages are always such a treasure, and this one is no exception. I love the way that you incorporated the trail into the layout. I like how you combined all the different bits and pieces. And more than anything, I love that you shared father and daughter bonding time, that is something that young ladies often don't get nearly enough of.

WOW to them for doing it and you for making it so its a seeing memory! I love the photos especially the landscape photo of the distant view and the back on them, us looking over their shoulders at it. You cant visualise what Australia looks like from a map. Lovely layout!
Did you take the photos from your broom flying over?

Oh if running were as inviting as this layout, I'd be right there with them.

I'd enjoy the scenery...the raised heartbeat...the comradery...the pride of accomplishment.

They are going to look as this...and know they did all those things together...and smile, smile, smile.

And isn't' that what scrapping is meant to do...oh yeah!
You scrapped this to perfection...so smile, smile, smile with them. You deserve it.
