I really love this photo of two of my aunts and their other sister by choice. Friends since they were toddlers, Kitty was the oldest by a few months and Adeline the youngest by a couple of years. Bobbye is on the left - elegant then and always; Kitty is on the right - and her attitude is on display as perfectly today as when this photo was taken; Adeline (1930-2021, in the middle is full of grace. Through moves, marriages, children, deaths and all the things life can spring on the unwary, their friendship never wavered, no matter how far away their lives took them. This was probably taken about 1949 in Oil Trough, Arkansas. Kitty and Bobbye are in their nineties and now live in the same city in Arkansas.
