Artemis II
Space Mission
Wed, Apr 1, 2026 – Sat, Apr 11, 2026
On April 6, 2026, NASA astronauts Reid Wiseman, Victor Glover, and Christina Koch, and CSA (Canadian Space Agency) astronaut Jeremy Hansen set a new record for the farthest distance from Earth ever traveled by humans, reaching 252,756 miles (406,771 kilometers). This surpassed the previous 1970 Apollo 13 record of 248,655 miles.
This looks fantastic, Connie! Love the circular photos and the wonderful way you've designed this with the progression of the Artemis mission from launch to splashdown. Those pictures are incredible, and I love how you kept the ellies minimal yet supportive of the theme of the page. Super use of the challenge font.
Wow Connie, this is so fantastic, you have chosen some wonderful and amazing photos, paired them with informative and interestig journalled facts and created a really eyecatching page to record this historic moment. A stand out in the gallery indeed, great job!!
