Journaling:
This hook has a story to tell. 45 years ago, in a desperate attempt to keep a busy 7 year old entertained, my Memaw gave me this hook and a ball of yarn. She sat down with me and showed me how to start a chain. I was challenged to make the stitches even like what she did with ease. Once I mastered that, she showed me how to turn and work back along the row. I was "hooked" from that moment on. From baby afghans, to pot covers, doilies, coasters and more, this hobby has given me a way to center my ever busy mind and a great stress relief. I can't tell you how many gifts this hook has made or what it made before it was mine, but I can tell you it's brought joy and peace in a world of chaos.
What a fantastic story!!! Loved reading the story of the hook, what a great idea for a LO, your page design and kit choices are attractive, I like how you clustered the butterflies at the journal card corner, the added crochet hook ellies are the perfect accent for this page.
Wonderful memory keeping. Fascinating paper shaping and I love the edgework on it. Finding real looking hooks, or extracting your own as photo accents looks great.
