My Uncle Laurie married Joyce on 25th March 1978.
Early this year ( 2026 ) Aunty Joyce gave me her wedding dress to use for
Uniforms4Kids. In March I finished making one dress and hope to make
another one. With U4K we need to use at least 50% of the police or ambulance
uniform fabric. This dress has the navy fabric for the back and the pockets.
The fabric is from a pair of Police dress trousers no longer worn by them.

Your aunty Joyce was a fashionista! That is a really cool wedding dress. Interesting project to upcycle old uniforms. Aunty's fabric certainly gives serge blues an upgrade. I really like that you used a wedding cake and a bouquet as your accent elements.
