Journaling:
March seems to be going out like a lion this year with huge dips and spikes in temperature and a whole lot of snow during the last few days of the month. On Thursday a new full-body-length bath pillow arrived from Amazon and we hope it is comfortable enough for Jason to actually sit in the tub instead of on the bath chair. It would allow for water all around him and it would be a much warmer experience than the current “telephone” shower while seated on the chair. Guinness has been especially demanding of pets - she would be her happiest if she had someone petting her all day every day - so Jason has been spending time at the left end of the couch so he can pet her with his right hand.
Dylan came over on Saturday and we brought out the second lasagna that we had made and frozen a couple of months ago. We estimated 90 minutes covered and 20 minutes uncovered from frozen but iit was more like 150 minutes covered and then another 20 minutes. It still turned out really well, just slower than we expected. We played a different style of Warhammer 40K this week that just involved capturing the objectives and didn’t have points or primary and secondary objectives. It seemed to have a faster pace to the play and was more entertaining than the conventional game play.
This week was another busy week for meetings so we did pepper steak in the slow cooker one night and one night we ordered in asian food. The original plan was to get OB Kitchen but apparently they are closed on Tuesdays so we tried for Tim’s Kitchen which is really close but they weren’t answering the phone. We ended up back with the standard Thai Garden which hasn’t been as good the last few times but this time it was not too bad. Everyone seemed to enjoy it, and Guinness always likes to “vacuum” Jason after he finishes.
Wednesday morning I went to get my nails done. They did a “cat’s eye” thing where they ran tool just above the gel polish before baking it under the lights. It made the polish reflect angles of light like a cat’s eyes reflect the light. The photo doesn’t do it justice but it is really neat. The rest of my free time this week was spent trying to recover one hard drive that failed. I managed to restore most of the files and got a new EHD but unfortunately a few things are lost.
I enjoyed reading about your week. Guinness is such a delight...with enviable vacuum talents. :)
Lovely nail color, it suits you perfectly.

As for lasagna...tell me about it...never seems enough time for it to cook properly. Good thing it's worth it, right?
