Journaling:
In April 2015 I left everything familiar to move to Fiji and take a role with a regional development organisation. This photo, taken 10 weeks into my new adventure, reminds me of how excited and happy I was to be using my education and experience to do work I loved in a beautiful location. Eleven years later, still working but not living in the South Pacific, I don’t regret my choices for a minute. It still surprises me most days that I had the courage to make such a big change in my life and the lives of my family, but I am glad that I did.
