legacy of faith

My family has a long history of serving the Lord in the Salvation Army as our church. Many people think it is a thrift store but that is not true. It was started as a church in England for the less fortunate who were not accepted in the rich churches. On my dad's side, the first member of the Salvation Army was his great grandma Bertha, I don't have a photo of her. Photos I do have all in uniform is my great grandparents Skiff, great grandma Lydia, grandparents Arline (she passed away in 1970), and grandpa Clint Steele. He remarried after my grandma Arline passed away to my grandma Dorothy. My grannie was my mom's mother.

What a splendid page with such a wonderful legacy. We always called it the "sally army" when I was growing up in England and it was known as a charity for the needy. You have done a wonderful job discussing it in your notes, I hope you do a page explaining that for future generations. Love the clusters and the pretty double border around the pics.

Marvelous tribute to your family who served in the Salvation Army. A big pat on the back and "thank you" from all of us!

I love your layout and how you are honoring your family. I enjoyed reading about the history of the Salvation Army. I didn't know that. Thanks for sharing.
