The entire set of spatulas was only $5.95?! Is that made of manganese steel because it still looks almost brand new. Thank you for sharing that story. It reminds me of the old Sears catalogs. We used to look through just for wish books @DebraB.
 
Fun page! I like the photos and the journaling. Those old catalogs are so fun to look in. Beautiful paper choice and I also like the torn paper strips.
 
What a great find! I always love finding old papers like this and seeing what the prices of things were years ago. It is crazy how much costs have risen over the years. I love the greenery background paper and the torn strips of paper layered behind your journaling.

@Margaret A I don't think it is maganese steel. The handle looks like steel, but feels more like a hard plastic. The metal part is in the 'shadows' so doesn't show the typical wear of a metal spatula. I have enjoyed the catalog--it is fun to look through and reminisce, and show the grandkids.
