Journaling reads:
When Moani applied to APU, her nursing school director asked the question “If you could have tea with anyone, living or dead, who would it be and why.” This is what she said.
His unconditional love and kindness continues to keep me grounded. Chris was gracefully brave and courageous in the face of his debilitating disease. He was such an inspiring role model who stimulated critical thinking in his witty and intelligent conversations. In Hawaiian culture, we are taught the importance of mana, our spiritual energy that we share to help heal. My brother taught me how to embrace my mana and share that experience with others. Chris is an inspiration in my life that will forever guide my heart.

Absolutely gorgeous!! What a beautiful tribute to Chris, that quote is so meaningful. Lovely blend on the photo, you have a special way with blends. The muted colour cluster across the bottom is beautifully crafted, the pop of the dark berries with the mono colours is really pleasing, loving the addition of the cuppa recording the date. I love the name Moani.
OMG...what a heart tugging, tear bringer. All good...because it affirms that GREAT people do exist. There is love of others in this world that tends to be the opposite.
Outstanding tribute to him, his family and everyone who views this precious keepsake.
